Monstruo EZ Cock-pot pulled pork

Simple set it and forget it flavorful pulled pork. Combine with other fresh and delicious ingredients and Monstruo de Gila BBQ Salsa can be the star of any meal.


Ingredients:

2lb pork shoulder roast or tenderloin

1 medium onion (chopped)

1 bell pepper (chopped)

1 lime


Time: 4hrs

Serves: 6-8


Set slow cooker to low. Sear pork on all sides.

Place the onions and pepper in the bottom of theslow cooker. Set the seared pork on top of the onions, squeeze lime juice on top of the meat. Add the rest of the BBQ salsa bottle, then cook on low for 3-4 hours. Shred the pork in the crockpot and let rest for 10-15 min (or refrigerate for later).


Serve on your favorite rolls for a spicy BBQ sandwich, or fry it up with some extra Monstruo De Gila BBQ Salsa to make Carnitas Street Tacos.
